Bamboo Rings

Inspired by the abundant natural resource, this design highlights the patience of woodworking in a modern application. Once grown, the bamboo is gathered and prepared by Nepalese villagers before sending it on to an urban workshop, where artisans carefully cut slim discs, arranging and securing them in a continuous patterns to become a Varia interlayer.
